KEYPLE (Minseok Song) provides HEXTRI (the "App") as a free, advertising-supported mobile application. The App is provided on an "AS IS" basis. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App.
1. Information We Process
- The App does not require you to provide your real name, phone number, or contact address to begin playing.
- When no session exists, the App automatically creates a Supabase anonymous account at launch. Supabase processes a pseudonymous user ID, authentication/session tokens, and technical authentication information. An anonymous account is not the same as collecting no data.
- Positive game scores can be submitted under that user ID without Google or Apple sign-in. Ranking records contain the user ID, nickname (initially generated), score, bundled avatar selection, record date, country code derived from device locale, and app build number. The country code is a language/region setting, not GPS location.
- Linking Google or Apple is optional and enables nickname and bundled-avatar editing. The provider ID and identity token are sent to Supabase for authentication. Google tokens can include a name, email address, and profile-image URL; Supabase Auth may retain these as identity metadata. The App does not copy these social profile fields into new ranking records or download/display social profile photos. Sign in with Apple does not request name or email scopes; any identity claims provided by the provider may nevertheless be processed for authentication.
- Advertising providers may process technical information such as IP address, advertising identifiers, device and app information, network information, consent signals, ad impressions, clicks, and diagnostic data.
- The App does not request precise device-location permission for gameplay.
2. How Information Is Used
Information may be processed to:
- Create and restore anonymous sessions, link optional Google or Apple identities, and manage accounts
- Save and synchronize high scores and ranking data
- Display rankings and prevent unauthorized score changes
- Provide, measure, and protect advertisements that support the free App
- Apply consent choices, diagnose errors, maintain security, and comply with applicable law
- Respond to support and data-related requests
KEYPLE does not sell personal information.
3. Leaderboard and Profile Visibility
Rankings are visible to other authenticated users, including automatically authenticated anonymous users. They show nickname, score, rank, bundled avatar, and country flag. The ranking response also contains the associated pseudonymous user ID, record date, and app build number. Do not use personally identifying information in your nickname. A network connection may be required to submit or refresh leaderboard data.
4. Permissions and Network Access
The App uses internet and network access for sign-in, leaderboard synchronization, update checks, advertisements, and related security functions. On iOS, the App requests tracking authorization when the operating system requires a decision. You can change tracking or advertising-identifier settings on your device. Ad availability and personalization depend on platform choices and the advertising service. The game does not require access to your contacts, camera, photo library, microphone, or precise location.
5. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The App uses the following services. Data may be processed outside your country according to their infrastructure and policies. Supabase hosts authentication and ranking data on our behalf; Google and Apple handle social authentication, and AdMob processes advertising data.
- Supabase Privacy Policy — anonymous and social authentication, account/session management, ranking database, and account-deletion processing
- Google Privacy Policy — Google Sign-In, Google Play Services, and related platform functions
- Apple Privacy Policy — Sign in with Apple and Apple platform functions
- Google AdMob Privacy and Data Policy — advertising, consent, measurement, and fraud prevention
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Authentication and leaderboard data is retained while needed to provide the service, protect it, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Local settings and progress remain on your device until cleared or the App is uninstalled.
For a Google/Apple-linked account, open the ranking screen, tap the top-right Sign Out account menu, choose Delete Account, and confirm deletion. The account-deletion service removes the current Supabase Auth account and ranking rows associated with the same user ID. This is a shared KEYPLE game account: matching records in HEXTRI, Ducky Ducky, Watermelon Balloon, Triangle Breaker, Memory Link, and Puzzle Link may also be deleted. On success, HEXTRI clears its local best score and saved game and starts a new anonymous session. Deleting this account does not delete your Google or Apple account.
Signing out creates a new anonymous session and does not delete the previous cloud account or rankings. Uninstalling is not a cloud-deletion request. Older Firebase-ID ranking records are retained as legacy history and are not transferred to a new Supabase account. For an anonymous account, inaccessible account, legacy record, or deletion without the App, follow the support and deletion instructions or email us. We may request non-sensitive information to verify ownership; never send a password or authentication token.
Active authentication and ranking records are kept until deletion is requested or retention is no longer necessary. Limited information may remain where needed for legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution. Provider-managed security logs, backups, and advertising records follow their respective retention policies and are not all erased by the in-app operation.
7. Your Choices
You may:
- Play and submit positive scores using an automatically created anonymous account without linking Google or Apple
- Manage sign-in and account options in the App
- Manage advertising and tracking choices through the available platform prompts and device settings
- Request access, correction, or deletion as provided by applicable law
8. Disclosure and Security
Information may be processed by the service providers listed above as needed to operate the App or disclosed when required by law, to respond to valid requests, protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy and Policy Changes
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, service providers, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with the applicable effective date.
