Project overview

A reflective journaling app for recording everyday thoughts and emotions and, when desired, sharing them with others. Users can pair entries with emotion icons, keep posts private, explore public writing, and exchange empathy through reactions.

Challenge

Private emotional records and social interaction had to coexist naturally while giving every user clear control over whether an entry remained personal or became public.

Solution

We separated daily emotion records and writing from public discovery and reactions, preserving a calm personal space without disconnecting the community experience.

Result

Square Note launched on Google Play as a mobile service where personal journaling and thoughtful emotional sharing can continue in one app.
