Project overview

HaruStar is a KEYPLE product that makes daily reflection simple with star ratings, short notes and photos. Rate your day from 0.5 to 5 stars and collect each entry as a star in a monthly jar. Tap the jar for a closer look or tilt your phone to watch the stars move. Revisit your entries through a calendar and weekly or yearly summaries. Everyday entries are stored on your device without requiring an account. Optional, one-time Pro adds detailed insights, period comparisons, extra themes, manual Google Drive backup and Excel export. HaruStar is preparing for its public release on iOS and Android. The images below are official store screenshots featuring the actual app UI and sample entries. Appearance may vary in the release version.

Challenge

Make daily reflection approachable without requiring long entries, while making past entries enjoyable to revisit.

Solution

Combine quick ratings, a physics-driven star jar, local storage, a calendar and insights in a cohesive journaling flow.
