Welcome to Orbit. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Orbit mobile application (the "App") provided by KEYPLE (Minseok Song). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. App Service and Acceptable Use
Orbit provides tools for organizing contacts, profiles, notes, relationship logs, images, and related personal records. You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful and personal purposes
- Respect the privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual-property rights of others
- Import, record, or attach information about another person only when you have a lawful basis to do so
- Avoid using the App for harassment, surveillance, discrimination, or other harmful conduct
- Avoid interfering with, reverse engineering, or attempting unauthorized access to the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
2. Your Content and Responsibility
You retain responsibility for the contacts, notes, images, relationship records, and other content you create, import, attach, or back up through the App.
- You must have the necessary rights and permissions to use the information and materials added to the App.
- KEYPLE does not claim ownership of your locally stored Orbit content.
- You are responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and lawful handling of information about other people.
- You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any backup account.
3. Local Storage and Google Drive Backup
App content is stored locally on your device unless you choose to use Google Drive backup.
- You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups before uninstalling the App, clearing App data, changing devices, or modifying operating-system settings.
- The optional Google Drive feature uses the App's dedicated application-data folder to back up and restore App data.
- KEYPLE cannot guarantee recovery of local or Google Drive data that has been deleted, corrupted, or made inaccessible outside KEYPLE's reasonable control.
- Removing the App may delete locally stored data but does not automatically remove an existing Google Drive backup.
4. Premium Features and One-Time Purchase
The App may offer premium features through a one-time in-app purchase.
- Payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play using the account confirmed at purchase.
- The purchase is intended as a one-time payment for the premium entitlement offered at that time and is not a recurring subscription.
- Purchase restoration requires the same platform account used for the original purchase and remains subject to platform availability and rules.
- Billing disputes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-method issues are handled under the applicable app marketplace's policies.
- RevenueCat may be used to verify and restore premium entitlement.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, interface, branding, graphics, and other materials provided by KEYPLE, is owned by or licensed to KEYPLE and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the App for its intended purpose.
6. Third-Party Services and Privacy
The App may depend on Apple, Google, Google Drive, RevenueCat, and device contact or media services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable without KEYPLE's control.
Information processing related to the App is described in the Orbit Privacy Policy.
7. Availability, Updates, and Termination
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App to improve features, address security or legal requirements, or respond to third-party service changes. We may restrict use that materially violates these Terms or threatens the App, users, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, permanent availability of third-party services, or recovery of lost data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KEYPLE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms when the App, third-party services, or applicable requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with the applicable effective date. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
