KEYPLE (Minseok Song) provides Memory Link (the "App") as a free, advertising-supported mobile application. The App is provided on an "AS IS" basis. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App.
1. Information We Process
- The App does not require you to provide your real name, phone number, or contact address to begin playing.
- In the current Supabase-based version, the App restores your saved authentication session or automatically creates an anonymous account when no session is available. Supabase processes a pseudonymous user identifier, authentication tokens and session information. Anonymous play therefore does not mean that no account or information is processed.
- For the challenge leaderboard, the App stores the user identifier, nickname, selected bundled-avatar identifier, score, stage reached, play time, country/region code, app build number, and record timestamp in Supabase.
- Training history, cumulative statistics, local high scores, and settings are stored on your device. The App does not upload your full training history or cumulative training statistics to the leaderboard. Local high-score records also include an account identifier to distinguish score ownership.
- Google or Apple sign-in is optional. Authentication providers and Supabase Auth may process provider identifiers and information included in authentication tokens, such as an email address where supplied. The App does not copy social-provider names, email addresses, or profile-image URLs into its game profile or leaderboard database. The current Apple sign-in flow does not request name or email scopes.
- Advertising providers may process technical information such as IP address, advertising identifiers, device and app information, network information, consent signals, ad impressions, clicks, and diagnostic data.
- The App does not request precise device-location permission for gameplay. The leaderboard country/region code comes from your device's locale setting, not GPS or a measurement of your current location.
2. How Information Is Used
Information may be processed to:
- Establish and restore anonymous sessions, and authenticate optional Google or Apple account linking or sign-in
- Save local gameplay records and statistics, and submit or update eligible challenge records on the server
- Display rankings and selected game profiles, distinguish record ownership, and prevent unauthorized score changes
- Provide, measure, and protect advertisements that support the free App
- Apply consent choices, diagnose errors, maintain security, and comply with applicable law
- Respond to support and data-related requests
KEYPLE does not sell personal information.
3. Leaderboard and Profile Visibility
Anonymous players can submit positive challenge scores without linking a social account; zero-point records are not submitted. Leaderboard records are associated with a Supabase user identifier. Other players may see your nickname, bundled avatar, score, stage, play time, rank, country/region, and related pseudonymous leaderboard fields. Full local training history and cumulative statistics are not published there. A network connection is required to submit or refresh leaderboard data.
Nickname and avatar editing requires a linked Google or Apple account. Avatars are selected from images bundled with the App; external social-profile photos are not displayed. Do not use personally identifying information in your nickname.
When possible, linking a social account keeps the anonymous account identifier and its leaderboard record. If that social identity already belongs to an existing account, the App signs in to that account instead; records belonging to different identifiers are not automatically merged.
Older Firebase-identifier leaderboard records may remain visible as legacy records. The current version displays a default bundled avatar instead of legacy external profile images. Creating a new Supabase account does not transfer ownership of those legacy records.
4. Permissions and Network Access
The App uses internet and network access for sign-in, leaderboard synchronization, update checks, advertisements, and related security functions. Where required, the operating system or an advertising provider may present privacy or personalized-ad choices. Refusing personalized advertising does not prevent basic gameplay, although ads may be limited or non-personalized.
5. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The App uses the following service providers. Supabase processes the App's authentication and leaderboard data on our behalf. Relevant provider privacy information is linked below:
- Supabase Privacy Policy — anonymous and linked-account authentication, session management, leaderboard database hosting, and server-side account deletion
- Google Privacy Policy — Google Sign-In, Google Play Services, and related platform functions
- Apple Privacy Policy — Sign in with Apple and Apple platform functions
- Google AdMob Privacy and Data Policy — advertising, consent, measurement, and fraud prevention
Older versions used Firebase authentication and related services. Their existing account and leaderboard data may remain during the transition; the current Supabase-based version does not use the Firebase SDK.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Authentication and leaderboard data is retained while needed to provide the service, protect it, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Local settings and progress remain on your device until cleared or the App is uninstalled.
Where the in-app Delete Account option is available, it requests removal of the shared KEYPLE authentication account and leaderboard records belonging to that same user identifier. This includes associated leaderboard records in other KEYPLE games using the same shared account, not only Memory Link. It does not delete your Google or Apple account itself. Server account deletion does not automatically clear training history, statistics, or settings stored locally on your device.
Signing out is not account deletion. After sign-out or successful account deletion, the current version establishes a new anonymous session so you can continue playing. Signing out or uninstalling the App does not by itself delete the previous cloud leaderboard records. A local score belonging to the previous account is not automatically submitted as a new anonymous user's score. An anonymous account without a linked sign-in identity may not be recoverable if access to its saved session is lost.
If you cannot access the in-app deletion option or need help with an anonymous or legacy record, email keypeopleofficial@gmail.com with a subject such as Memory Link account/data deletion. Tell us whether you want to delete the shared account or request deletion of specific Memory Link data, and provide enough information to identify the record, such as its nickname and score. We may request reasonable information to verify the request. Do not send passwords or authentication tokens. Legacy Firebase records are not automatically deleted or transferred when a new Supabase account is created.
Advertising providers retain information according to their own policies.
7. Your Choices
You may:
- Play and participate in the leaderboard without linking Google or Apple, using the automatically created anonymous account
- Link a supported social account to manage your nickname and bundled avatar, or use the available sign-out and account-deletion options
- Manage advertising and tracking choices through available consent prompts and device settings
- Request access, correction, or deletion as provided by applicable law
8. Disclosure and Security
Information may be processed by the service providers listed above as needed to operate the App or disclosed when required by law, to respond to valid requests, protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy and Policy Changes
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, service providers, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with the applicable effective date.
