Keyple (Minseok Song) provides Ducky Ducky (the "Application") as a free, ad-supported mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Application, why it is processed, how it is retained, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Process
Anonymous account and authentication
When the Application starts without an existing session, it automatically creates an anonymous account through Supabase Auth. Supabase processes a randomly generated user identifier (UUID), authentication tokens, session information, and network or security logs needed to operate and protect the account.
You may optionally link the anonymous account to Google or Apple. Google or Apple and Supabase Auth may process an identity token, provider-specific account identifier, and other identity data required to authenticate you. The Application does not request name or email scopes from Apple. Names, email addresses, social profile information, and external profile-image URLs received from Google or Apple are not copied to the Ducky Ducky leaderboard database or displayed as your game profile.
Leaderboard and game profile
To provide scores and rankings, the Application may store:
- Supabase user identifier
- A randomly generated or user-selected nickname
- The identifier of an avatar bundled with the Application
- Score, play time, rank, app build number, and submission or update time
- A country or region code derived from the device's current locale
Anonymous users may submit scores. A score of zero is not submitted. Only users who have linked a Google or Apple identity can edit their nickname or bundled avatar.
Leaderboard records are designed to be read by other users of the ranking service. Your nickname, bundled avatar, score, rank, country or region code, and related pseudonymous leaderboard fields may therefore be visible to others. Please do not use personally identifying information in your nickname.
Data stored only on your device
The Application stores your best score, play time, sound settings, volume settings, and tutorial status locally on your device. This local data is not uploaded except for the leaderboard fields described above.
Advertising and device information
The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- IP address and general location inferred from the IP address
- Advertising identifiers and other app or device identifiers
- Device model, operating system, app information, language, and network information
- Ad impressions, clicks, interactions, consent signals, and diagnostic information
The Application itself does not request device location permission and does not directly collect GPS or precise location data. Advertising providers may infer a general location from IP addresses or other signals under their own privacy policies.
2. How We Use Information
We process information to:
- Create and maintain anonymous or linked authentication sessions
- Save scores, operate the leaderboard, and prevent unauthorized score changes
- Allow eligible users to edit nicknames and bundled avatars
- Display, measure, and protect advertisements that fund the free service
- Apply consent choices and device privacy settings
- Detect abuse, investigate errors, maintain security, and comply with law
Keyple does not sell personal information collected through the Application.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application uses the following service providers, which process information under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — anonymous and social authentication, database, and account-deletion processing
- Google Privacy Policy — Google Sign-In, Google Play Services, and related platform services
- Google Advertising Technologies and AdMob — advertising, consent, measurement, and fraud prevention
- Apple Privacy Policy and Sign in with Apple & Privacy — Apple authentication and platform privacy controls
These providers may process data in countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Their retention periods and international-transfer safeguards are governed by their respective policies and applicable law.
4. Permissions and Privacy Choices
The Application requires internet access for authentication, leaderboard synchronization, update checks, and advertisements.
On iOS, the Application may request App Tracking Transparency permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking. Where required, a Google consent message may also be presented. Refusing tracking or personalized-ad consent does not prevent gameplay, although advertisements may be non-personalized, limited, or unavailable. You may also manage advertising choices in your device settings.
The Application does not request access to contacts, photos, the camera, microphone, or device location for its game features.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Cloud authentication and leaderboard data are retained while the account is active or while reasonably necessary to provide the leaderboard, protect the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Users who have linked a Google or Apple account can use the in-app Delete Account function. It deletes the current Supabase Auth account and associated leaderboard rows for Ducky Ducky and participating Keyple games that use the same shared account. After deletion, the Application immediately creates a new anonymous account so that the game can continue to operate.
Signing out creates a new anonymous session but does not by itself delete the previous account or its leaderboard data. Uninstalling the Application deletes locally stored settings and scores from the device but does not automatically delete cloud authentication or leaderboard records. Linked users can use Delete Account before uninstalling. Anonymous users, users who cannot access the Application, and users requesting review of a legacy leaderboard record can request deletion by emailing keypeopleofficial@gmail.com. Include the app name, platform, nickname, approximate last-use date, and any information that can help identify the record. We may request reasonable verification before deleting a record.
Leaderboard rows created by earlier versions using Firebase user identifiers are preserved as legacy, read-only ranking records during the service transition. New Supabase users cannot claim or modify those rows. Because a legacy row may not be automatically linkable to a current Supabase account, contact us if you want us to review a legacy-record deletion request. We may request reasonable information to verify the request.
Earlier Application versions may continue to use Firebase services temporarily during the transition. The new Application version does not use Firebase as its authentication or leaderboard runtime.
Advertising providers retain information according to their own policies.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of your personal information. You may:
- Continue using the Application with an anonymous account without linking Google or Apple
- Delete a Google- or Apple-linked account using the in-app Delete Account option
- Request deletion of an anonymous account or a legacy leaderboard record by emailing keypeopleofficial@gmail.com
- Manage personalized advertising or tracking through consent prompts and device settings
- Contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, or a legacy leaderboard record
We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity or ownership of the relevant account or record.
7. Disclosure
Information may be disclosed to the service providers listed above only as needed to operate the Application. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect users or the public, to investigate fraud or abuse, or to defend legal rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. Leaderboard write operations are restricted so that an authenticated user can create, update, or delete only records owned by that user's authentication identifier. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application, service providers, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
