KEYPLE (Minseok Song) provides Doongsil: Goal Timer (the "App") as a free mobile application with an optional one-time Pro purchase. The App is provided on an "AS IS" basis. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App. Availability of features such as Google Drive backup may vary by App version.
1. Information Processed
When you download or use the App, certain technical and usage information may be processed automatically, including:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device model, operating system, App version, language, and network information
- App screens or features used, session time, and diagnostic information
- Information needed to protect the App and investigate errors
The App does not request precise location information. Goal settings, timer records, notes, selected photos, and appearance settings may be stored locally on your device.
2. Local App Data
The App may store goal details, focus-session history, notes, selected photos, character or balloon settings, and preferences locally on your device. Local data is not uploaded to a server operated by KEYPLE unless a feature clearly informs you otherwise. Clearing App data or uninstalling the App may remove locally stored information.
For newly attached photos, embedded capture-location metadata is removed before saving in the App, including when Original quality is selected. Originals in your device's photo library, existing attachments and existing backup files are not modified. The App does not request access to your device's GPS location.
3. Permissions and Use of Information
Photo or media permission may be requested only when you choose to attach an image to a record. Internet access may be used for platform services, updates, and support-related functions.
Information is processed only as reasonably necessary to operate the App, remember settings and progress, improve stability and usability, respond to support requests, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.
3-1. Optional Google Drive Backup
Google Drive backup is optional. When you connect a Google account, Google Sign-In supplies basic account information, such as an account identifier and email address, and authorization used to connect and display the account. The Google sign-in SDK handles authentication information; the App does not receive your Google account password.
When you start a backup, the App sends an archive containing your goals, activity records, notes, selected photos and App preferences to your Google Drive. When you restore, it downloads the archive to restore App data on your device. Backup contents travel directly between the App and Google Drive, not through KEYPLE's administration server.
The App uses the `drive.file` permission for files it creates or that you authorize it to access, rather than requesting access to all files in your Drive. Google account information and data obtained from Drive are used for account connection, backup and restore, not for advertising targeting or linking your RevenueCat purchase identity.
Google authorization tokens and Pro purchase entitlements are excluded from the archive. The App does not password-encrypt backup files, so take care when sharing them. After a new upload is successfully verified, the App retains its two newest completed backups and moves older backups it manages to Google Drive Trash.
Disconnecting your account or uninstalling the App does not automatically delete Drive backups. You can delete them in Google Drive and revoke the App's access in your Google Account's connected-app settings. Pro is required to create or restore Google Drive backups in the App.
4. Third-Party Services
- Purchases and purchase restoration: Apple App Store or Google Play handles payment. RevenueCat processes an App user identifier, product, transaction and receipt information, entitlements and related device/App information to verify purchases, activate Pro, restore access and analyze purchase activity. The App does not receive payment card numbers. Google Drive sign-in is separate from your purchase identity.
- Advertising: Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) may process IP addresses (which can help estimate a general location), advertising/device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. Pro removes in-App ads. Google UMP presents required advertising privacy choices; when applicable, these choices can be reopened in App settings. iOS tracking permission is a separate system setting. Denying tracking does not stop all technical data processing.
- Backup and sign-in: Google Sign-In and Google Drive provide the optional backup and restore described in section 3-1.
- Resource downloads: The App downloads images, sounds and other resources through Cloudflare-backed delivery. IP addresses and request information may be processed for delivery and security. This does not upload activity records.
For details about the providers' handling of information, see:
5. Disclosure of Information
KEYPLE does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by platform providers as needed for their services or disclosed when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.
6. Data Retention and Your Choices
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear App data or uninstall the App. Google Drive backup retention and deletion are described in section 3-1. Information processed by payment, advertising and platform providers is managed under their policies and applicable legal retention obligations.
Uninstalling the App or disconnecting Google does not by itself delete existing purchase records or all information held by providers. For questions about information you provided in a support request, or applicable access, correction or deletion requests, contact us using the email below. We may request reasonable information to verify the request.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the App and the information processed in connection with it. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children's Privacy and Policy Changes
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, platform services, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with the applicable effective date.
